This revision expands the published service and information-handling explanations. Accepted orders and signed agreements remain relevant to the service purchased.
1. Scope
Cookies are small values stored by a browser; similar storage can include local storage and other device-side mechanisms. This policy covers JIJ websites and tools that refer to it. Storage used by a client-controlled website or a separate third-party service may be governed by that operator's notice.
A storage identifier is not always the entire record. For example, an opaque session value can locate server-side account or project state without storing the full content in the cookie itself.
2. Essential sessions and security
WHMCS and other JIJ tools use session and security state for sign-in, account selection, anti-forgery protection, and approved handoffs between services. These functions help keep one person's workspace separate from another's. Blocking essential state can prevent login, forms, checkout, or support features from working.
Browser login status does not by itself authorize a service change. Sensitive actions can still require verification, a fresh confirmation, or an approved workflow. Signing out and closing shared-device sessions remain important.
3. Preferences and optional remembered information
Preferences may remember a selected theme or a name when you request that behavior. Ask Jim's remembered name is optional. Saved project memory is also optional and uses a secure browser identifier to locate the confirmed brief on the server.
The brief has its own 30-day inactivity period described in the Privacy Policy. Deleting a cookie can remove the browser's connection to a record without immediately deleting every server, mailbox, or previously downloaded copy. Use the feature's Forget or deletion controls when available.
4. Measurement and third-party tools
JIJ may use service measurement and operational logs to understand usage and diagnose issues. LinkStudio's published analytics measure event dates, device categories, and referring hostnames without keeping raw visitor IP addresses in those analytics; this does not eliminate separate security logs.
Stripe and selected embedded, security, AI, or product-provider workflows may process browser information under their own policies. The tools actually used depend on the page and feature. We do not treat essential authentication storage as permission for unrelated advertising or optional tracking. Where applicable law requires a choice or consent, that requirement governs the feature.
5. Managing storage
Use browser settings to inspect, block, or remove cookies and site data. You can also use JIJ product controls to sign out, clear a chat, or forget a saved brief. Removing browser state can affect preferences or access and does not automatically cancel a paid service.
For shared devices, sign out of account portals and remove remembered project information before leaving. For privacy help or questions about a particular cookie or feature, contact support@jijweb.com with the site and feature name, without sending cookie values or authentication tokens.
6. Updates
We review this notice as account, payment, analytics, security, and optional features change. The Privacy Policy explains purposes, providers, retention, and requests relating to personal information. Material changes are communicated as appropriate for the affected feature and applicable law.
